It took me FOREVER to put this post together because there were SO many incredible moments at this wedding that I couldn’t choose which to include! We’ll have to settle for just a handful:) California Center for the Arts in Escondido in February and it was the PERFECT day. The energy in the room where the girls were getting ready was so fun; laughter , dessert and lots of hairspray:) Tera’s cute pregnant tummy just made her glow that much more! Dave got to hang with… Read More »
On the first day of 2016, aboard the “Black Gold”, we departed the dock of the San Diego Yacht Club and witnessed Joe and Riley’s union with a Point Loma sunset beyond. They are both sailors and Riley is from Point Loma, so this was very special to them. Seriously, you can’t get more romantic than that! These guys have become such good friends to us and we are so so grateful to have them in our lives:) Here’s to many more adventures to come!
This family! The perfect example of how to have a relaxed and fun family pictures session! I SO want to be this Momma when I grow up. We got to the location that we had planned (Mission De Alcala) and unfortunately they wouldn’t let us photograph inside. Dad forgot hair gel and kids were missing shoes. But this rad Mom just rolled with it! Barefoot kids? No problem! We love this family and can’t wait to do this again in the fall! (with… Read More »

You’re supposed to get really specific in order to better market yourself or your product and attract the right buyer. What music do they listen to? Where do they shop? What do they do for fun? How much money do they make? What brand of toilet paper do they use? (Okay, maybe not THAT specific, but you get… Read More »
“This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” ― Alan W. Watts We had SO much fun with Jessica + Erick at their engagement session. It took them a minute to loosen up, but we are so crazy, nobody can be nervous for long! Something that Dave and I work really hard at, is finding new ways to play during sessions. We feel like having… Read More »
We have been talking about doing this shoot since we moved to San Diego in 2013. Trevor and Christina were among some of our first wedding couples together as David & Ashley back in 2010, in UTAH. The fact that we BOTH ended up living in the San Diego area is more than just coincidence, if you ask us. It’s funny how certain people can end up weaving in and out of your life..and we are SO happy to have reconnected with these guys after 5+ years! They… Read More »
Rachel has become one of my closest friends since we moved to San Diego 2 years ago, and I was so honored to be with her family for this very special day. I love vow renewals probably more than I do weddings because anybody can fall in love and get married, but it takes real love, patience and commitment to keep a relationship healthy and thriving. Rachel and her husband, Chad, had written new vows to one another and read them with their two children… Read More »
