On the first day of 2016, aboard the “Black Gold”, we departed the dock of the San Diego Yacht Club and witnessed Joe and Riley’s union with a Point Loma sunset beyond. They are both sailors and Riley is from Point Loma, so this was very special to them. Seriously, you can’t get more romantic than that! These guys have become such good friends to us and we are so so grateful to have them in our lives:) Here’s to many more adventures to come!

Taking photos at sunset is always our favorite. Jessica and Erick opted to do an outfit change during the session to give them two different looks. As I relaxed on the blanket, the crisp March breeze was cold enough to breach my thin t-shirt, but the comforting touch of the afternoon sun was sufficient to stop my chattering teeth.
