Any basic marketing/branding class will tell you that one of the most important things you can do as a business owner is to define your “ideal” client. You’re supposed to get really specific in order to better market yourself or your product and attract the right buyer. What music do they listen to? Where do they shop? What do they do for fun? How much money do they make? What brand of toilet paper do they use? (Okay, maybe not THAT specific, but you get… Read More »
This is quite a throwback for us! Miranda was a senior model for me back in my first 2 years of photography, about 5 years ago! We shot this engagement session in Murray, Utah shortly before moving to San Diego in 2013. We traveled back to Utah again that fall to shoot their wedding. Their pup is now all grown up and Miranda is expecting their first child very soon! We love these two so much. We hope to be able to photograph their little family… Read More »
“I choose you. And I’ll choose you, over and over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you.”
Taking photos at sunset is always our favorite. Jessica and Erick opted to do an outfit change during the session to give them two different looks. Between the hazy sunset light and their great wardrobe choices, this session has become one of our favorites! In case you missed it, here is part one of their session. Enjoy!
“This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” ― Alan W. Watts We had SO much fun with Jessica + Erick at their engagement session. It took them a minute to loosen up, but we are so crazy, nobody can be nervous for long! Something that Dave and I work really hard at, is finding new ways to play during sessions. We feel like having… Read More »
As Dave is newer to the social media scene, he was sorting through all of our client albums last week to get an idea of where we’ve been and what we’ve accomplished. He decided to pull his faves and make a video. I will admit that I totally cried watching it. We love these families and individuals so much. Each and every one of them have changed us for the better. Be sure your sound is up and that you choose the HD quality on the drop down… Read More »
The second half of Yadi & Hector’s Engagement session is a whole different look than the first half. (Click here if you missed it!) After shooting at the Pub downtown, we took a little trip out to the country. We met them at the Myrtle Creek Botanical Garden & Nursery in Fallbrook. How about their wardrobe? We about DIED when they got out of the car, they looked pretty amazing. They share a love for The Great Gatsby, can you tell? This garden is so beautiful, and we… Read More »
When gorgeous Yadi came to us for their engagements, I really wanted to incorporate their story into their session. They are originally from Miami, Florida. They have been together for more than 8 years now and are getting married in Florida in the spring of 2016, when Hector returns from deployment. This handsome Marine, Hector, was stationed up in Oceanside and that’s where they were living. These two were engaged in Ireland, but back in November when we were planning their session, rolling green hillsides weren’t exactly… Read More »
